A) System Requirements - top


B) Install The App - top

By running the installer you will view this screen, press "Next".

Write the user name, organization (E.g. Your Store Name) and the serial key you find in the "Serial.txt" file then press "Next".

Check "Create a desktop shortcut" if you want the installer to create a desktop shortcut for you.

Then, press "Install".

Congrats!, You've installed BoomPOS - press "Finish".

For the first-time-launch only, you will be required to enter the serial again and create a new adminstrator user by entering the Full Name, username to use in login and the password.

After that, you are in now to start your journey.

C) Add New Entries To The Stock - top

Press "Add Item".

Fill the fields, you can set a barcode to easily access the item in the point of sale page.

You can also set a notice quantity to have an alert in the dashboard when you reach it.

You can also set a notice expiration date to have an alert in the dashboard when you are close to it.

You can delete an item, edit it or You can track the sales and purchases (flow) of the item.

You can create an item report showing the sales and purchase of a certain item over a certain amount of time.

D) Purchases - top

You can create purchase tickets.

Press "Add Purchase".

You can add items to the purchases cart with a barcode, or using the list of items in the side menu, you can also filter the items in the side menu to search for desired items.

Press "Payment" to pay.

You can pay with cash/credit/phone, (cash needs the cashier to input the amount given by the customer), and the method of payment is mainly for future data analysis.

You can set a Supplier for the sale ticket, so it can be attributed to them (this way you can keep track of purchases from select suppliers).

Press "Add Supplier".

Fill the fields with the required data and press "Save".

Here, you can see all the suppliers, edit and delete them.

Also you can track their paid and remaining amount of money.

E) Point of Sale - top

You can create sales tickets.

Have multiple carts to allow to easily switch between multiple customers.

You can add items to the sales cart with a barcode, or using the list of items in the side menu, you can also filter the items in the side menu to search for desired items.

Press "Payment" to pay.

You can pay with cash/credit/phone, (cash needs the cashier to input the amount given by the customer), and the method of payment is mainly for future data analysis.

Purchases

You can search the sales ticket history by date, customer, and cashier.

You can edit previous tickets, delete and print them.

You can return sold items to inventory by editing the existing sales data.

Table data can be exported to an excel sheet.

You can add, edit, and remove unique customers, by saving their contact data.

Press "Add Customer".

Here, you can manage all customers - edit and delete them.

You can also track their spending, and if they have pending charges.

F) Expenses - top

Press "Add Expense".

You can add, edit, and remove Business Expenses, setting the amount and date.

Upcoming expenses will be alerted to you ahead of time on the dashboard page.

Expenses are deducted from the profit when calculating the financial/profit report.

Table data can be exported to an excel sheet.


G) Reports - top

Hint: You must press "search button" to view the report data.

You can create a financial report, showing the sales, purchases, expenses, and the overall profit over a certain amount of time.

H) Users - top

Here you can manage the various users/employees that will be using the application.

Press "Add User".

Fill the fields with the required data and press "Save".

You can add/edit/delete users and assign them roles, as well as save their personal information.

Users can login when the program launches or when another user logs out, the features they can access are entirely dependent on their role.

On the first launch, there exists an admin role with access to all features of the program.

Press "Add User".

Each role has 41 permissions for the various feature, each can be toggled to allow for customization of what the user assigned to that role can see and do.

Here you can add/edit/delete roles, which are essential in managing access to the various features of the program.

I) Shifts - top

Used to track employees' work times.

employee/cashier can start the shift by setting the value of cash in, and press "Open Shift".

At the end of the shift they the cash out is calculated automatically and he can leave any needed notes.

Then, at the end of the working day he press "Close Shift".

You can view and remove completed employee shifts data, cash in, cash out, and their shift times.

You can filter/search for shifts with a certain time frame, or by specific employee.

Table data can be exported to an excel sheet.


J) (Export To Excel) Option - top

Anywhere you find this button in the app, you can click on it to have an excel sheet of the table.

K) Backup & Restore - top

You can export your entire data to a .db file and import it, to save your work and secure your whole data .

L) Print Receipts - top

Anywhere you find this button in the app, you can click on it to print a receipt/report of a specific data. .
